Gene Stewart, a native of Central Texas, was raised in the Long Cove area between Lometa and Goldthwaite. He graduated from Lometa High School in 1970 and Tarleton State University with a B.S. in Agri-Business in 1974. Gene worked for the Farm Credit System for 9 years prior to opening Gene Stewart Real Estate in 1988. His prior experiences in retail management and agricultural credit provided the base which prepared him for a successful career in real estate.

Gene's personal philosophy in life and in business is based upon the age-old "Golden Rule"; treat everyone the way that they would want to be treated. That same attitude is the standard of all their co-workers. The friendly "home towns" of Central Texas are a great place to live, do business, raise a family or have a "home away from home".
